Global attractor of a modified Swift-Hohenberg equation in $H^k$ spaces.
(English)
[J] Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 72, No. 1, A, 183-191 (2010). ISSN 0362-546X

Summary: By using an iteration procedure, regularity estimates for linear semigroups and a classical existence theorem of a global attractor, we prove that a modified Swift-Hohenberg equation $u_t= - \varDelta ^{2}u+g(u)$ possesses a global attractor in the Sobolev space $H^k$ for all $k\geq 0$, which attracts any bounded subset of $H^k(\varOmega )$ in the $H^k$-norm.
