Summary: The second basic axisymmetric problem of elasticity theory is studied for an infinite transversal-isotropic elastic medium containing two nonintersecting absolutely rigid ellipsoids which are symmetric with respect to a common axis. We use the method of superposition which is based on complex potentials.
