Summary: An inventory model without shortage is considered under fuzzy environment. Costs involved; ordering cost and holding cost. imprecise in nature. considered as fuzzy parameters. Representing both the costs by fuzzy triangular number. the optimum order quantity is calculated using signed distance method for defuzzification.
