Gander, M. J.; Halpern, L. Optimized Schwarz waveform relaxation methods for advection reaction diffusion problems. (English) Zbl 1140.65063 SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 45, No. 2, 666-697 (2007). The authors develop a new class of waveform relaxation algorithms for large systems of ordinary differential equations arising from discretization of partial differential equations. A number of theorems is developed and presented for convergence, stability of the method and finally experiments are performed for validation. Interesting work.
