Existence and multiplicity results for some quasilinear elliptic equation with weights. (English)

Author's abstract: Using variational methods, we show the existence and multiplicity of solutions of singular boundary value problems of the type $$\cases -\text{div}(|x|^{-\alpha}A(|\nabla u|)\nabla u)=|x|^{-\beta}f(x,u)&\text{in }\Omega,\\ u=0&\text{on }\partial\Omega, \endcases$$ where the numbers $\alpha$ and $\beta$, as well as the functions $A$ and $f$ satisfy certain conditions.
