Blowup stability of solutions of the nonlinear heat equation with a large life span.

Sign-changing solutions of the Cauchy problem for a semilinear heat equation are studied. Sufficient conditions for blow-up are given, and results on the blow-up profile and blow-up time are established when the nonlinearity is subcritical in the Fujita or Sobolev sense.
