A unified treatment of exactly solvable trigonometric potential models. (English)

Summary: By choosing appropriate parameters in the five-parameter exponential-type potential model, we generate systematic exactly solvable trigonometric potentials. We show that the energy spectra of some well-known exactly solvable trigonometric potentials can be obtained from a general energy spectrum formula. It is also shown that the five-parameter exponential-type potential model contains all the second class of shape-invariant trigonometric potentials with eigenfunctions corresponding to hypergeometric functions.
