Oscillation and asymptotic behavior for second-order nonlinear perturbed differential equations.

The authors deal with second-order perturbed differential equations of the form $$[r(t)\psi(x(t))x'(t)]'+p(t)x'(t)+Q(t,x(t))=P(t,x(t),x'(t)).$$ Using Riccati transformation and averaging technique, new oscillatory criteria are obtained. Criteria for the asymptotics of the forced equation are also established.
