A view on decoherence via master equations. (English)

Summary: This paper addresses the discussion on probabilistic features of the concept of decoherence as it appeared in quantum physics. Given a Lindblad-type generator of an open system dynamics, we derive applicable criteria to characterize decoherent behaviour.
