Wang, Q.-R. Oscillation criteria for nonlinear second order damped differential equations. (English) Zbl 1052.34040 Acta Math. Hung. 102, No. 1-2, 117-139 (2004). Here, by means of the generalized Riccati technique and the integral averaging technique, several new oscillation criteria for a class of second-order nonlinear damped differential equations are established. The results extend, improve and unify a number of existing results and handle the cases which are not covered by known criteria. Several interesting examples are included.
