Exact solutions for some nonlinear partial differential equations. (English)

Summary: Exact solutions to some nonlinear partial differential equations, including $(2+1)$-dimensional breaking soliton equation, sine-Gordon equation and double sine-Gordon equation, are studied by means of the mapping method proposed by the author recently. Many new results are presented. A simple review of the method is finally given.
