Global asymptotic behavior for the competing predators of the Ivlev types.

Summary: This paper deals with the question of global asympotic behavior of competing predators of Ivlev type [see {\it J. Sugie}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 217, 349--371 (1998; Zbl 0894.34025); {\it R. E. Kovij} and {\it A. Zegeling}, ibid. 198, 473--489 (1996; Zbl 0851.34030)]. We have analysed the global stability of the equilibrium of this system and proved that the competitive exclusion principle holds for it. Furthermore, we discussed the biological sense of the main results.
