Summary: M. Medved [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 214, 349-366 (1997; Zbl 0893.26006)] proposed a new approach for the estimation of solutions to Henry-type and Bihari-type integral inequalities with weakly singular kernels. In the present paper, a modified version of this approach is used to obtain pointwise explicit bounds on solutions to a class of more general weakly singular integral inequalities of Volterra-type. Some application examples are also indicated.
