The Sumudu transform for functions of two variables. (English)

The author extends the Sumudu transform, defined earlier by him [Int. J. Math. Educ. Sci. Technol. 24, 35-43 (1993; Zbl 0768.44003)] to functions of two variables. He presents many interesting properties of his extended Sumudu transform. He further shows that the extended Sumudu transform can be used to solve partial differential equations with known initial conditions.
