Fan, Meng; Wang, Ke Global existence of a positive periodic solution to a predator-prey system with Holling type II functional response. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 0997.34063 Acta Math. Sci., Ser. A, Chin. Ed. 21, No. 4, 492-497 (2001). Summary: By using a continuation theorem based on coincidence degree theory, the authors study the global existence of a positive periodic solution to a periodic predator-prey system with Holling-II-type functional response (i.e. Rosenzweig-MacArthur model). A set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained, that improve some known results.
