On a class of exact solutions of the equations of motion of a second-grade fluid. (English) Zbl 0992.76006

Summary: By means of Fourier sine transform, we determine the velocity field corresponding to a flow over a suddenly moved flat plate in a second-grade fluid. We also present the adequate solution for Rayleigh-Stokes problem for the edge.
