The author has treated the standard \(H_\infty\) problem for systems with delay at the control actuator. By transforming the original system to an abstract Cauchy problem on a product space and using finite-dimensional computations, the author has reduced the operator Riccati equations (which are difficult to solve) to a pair of algebraic Riccati equations and a differential Riccati equation.
