Control Optim. 37, No. 6, 1874-1896 (1999). The author studies the asymptotic stabilization of the origin for the two-dimensional Euler equation of incompressible inviscid fluid in a bounded domain. It is assumed that the controls act on a small open subset of the boundary. The author gives explicit feedback laws which globally asymptotically stabilize the origin, and proves the null global asymptotic stabilizability.
