Broadbridge, P.; Hill, J. M.; Goard, J. M. Symmetry reductions of equations for solute transport in soil. (English) Zbl 0953.35008 Nonlinear Dyn. 22, No. 1, 15-27 (2000). The authors study a model for solute transport in saturated soil consisting of a Fokker-Planck and a Laplace equation. Using methods from Lie symmetry theory they determine some exact solutions for two-dimensional transport.
