Blackadar, Bruce \(K\)-theory for operator algebras. 2nd ed. (English) Zbl 0913.46054 Publications. Mathematical Sciences Research Institute. 5. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. xx, 300 p. (1998). This is the second edition of a now classical textbook in \(K\)-theory of operator algebras. We refer to the review of the first edition [Zbl 0597.46072] for the contents of the book. As the author explains in his preface, some errors are corrected, some references are updated and comments about new developments are added in this second edition. The major addition is a new section on \(E\)-theory. All added material has numbers not used in the first edition.
