Fernandes, Paolo; Gilardi, Gianni Magnetostatic and electrostatic problems in inhomogeneous anisotropic media with irregular boundary and mixed boundary conditions. (English) Zbl 0910.35123 Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 7, No. 7, 957-991 (1997). The authors discuss general electrostatic and magnetostatic problems in terms of abstract spaces and determine conditions for sequences of the associated potentials to converge to solutions when the boundaries can be very irregular and the media discontinuous. The treatment is highly abstract and it is unlikely, in the absence of any illustrative problems in the paper, that the ideas of the paper will be available to engineers and physicists.
