Boundary element analysis of resistively loaded wire antenna immersed in a lossy medium. (English) Zbl 0909.65120

Marchetti, M. (ed.) et al., Boundary elements XIX. Proceedings of the 19th international conference on boundary element methods (BEM 19), Rome, Italy, September 9-11, 1997. Southampton: CMP, Computational Mechanics Publications. 485-493 (1997).
Summary: The boundary element procedure is developed for modelling the loaded dipole antenna embedded in a dissipative medium. Such approach provides a simple and efficient algorithm for the calculation of current distribution and input impedance. Numerical results are presented for current distribution and input impedance spectrum of a resistively loaded dipole antenna.
