Weak convergence of iterative methods generated by strongly Fejér monotone mappings. (English) Zbl 0890.65055

The author considers the general class of strongly Fejér monotone mappings and the subclass of strongly non-expansive operators. The weak convergence of iterative methods generated by strongly Fejér monotone mappings is proved. Applications concerning Fejér monotone iterative methods are presented.
