From \(E=mc^ 2\) to Dirac’s equation: a heuristic introduction to spinors. (De \(E=mc^ 2\) à l’équation de Dirac: Une introduction heuristique aux spineurs.) (French) Zbl 0888.01011

Séminaire de théorie spectrale et géométrie. Année 1995-1996. St. Martin d’Hères: Univ. de Grenoble I, Institut Fourier, Sémin. Théor. Spectrale Géom., Chambéry-Grenoble. 14, 121-148 (1996).
The paper is a historical introduction to spinors through the study of Dirac’s equation. The author presents the basic ideas of quantum classic mechanics, Dirac’s equation and the theory of spinors. There are also discussed aspects of classic mechanics, geometrical approaches to Maxwell’s equations and Dirac’s axiomatization of quantum mechanics.
