Ducomet, B. Evolution of a self-gravitating Rosseland gas in one dimension. (English) Zbl 0838.76079 Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 5, No. 7, 999-1012 (1995). Summary: We prove the existence of a global solution, for the evolution of a self-gravitating radiative gas (Rosseland’s model) in one space dimension. We then show that, for large time, the solution converges to the isothermal solution of the corresponding stationary problem.
