Iterative substructuring methods for the mortar elements. (Méthode itérative de sous-structuration pour les éléments avec joints.) (French. Abridged English version) Zbl 0836.65118

Summary: For elliptic problems, the mortar method lets us couple different discretizations in different subdomains. For problems in the plane, we propose an iterative substructuring algorithm for the efficient solution of the linear systems arising from this methods.
