Fialkow, Lawrence Positivity, extensions and the truncated complex moment problem. (English) Zbl 0830.44007 Curto, Raúl E. (ed.) et al., Multivariable operator theory. A joint summer research conference on multivariable operator theory, July 10-18, 1993, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society. Contemp. Math. 185, 133-150 (1995). The paper provides a valuable survey of the complex truncated moment problem. Presenting his latest results (with R. E. Curto), the author discusses a conjecture of several necessary and sufficient conditions for a truncated moment sequence to have a representing measure. Main tool in his considerations is the extension problem for positive moment matrices. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0819.00022].
