Natarajan, A.; Mohankumar, N. A comparison of some quadrature methods for approximating Cauchy principal value integrals. (English) Zbl 0829.65027 J. Comput. Phys. 116, No. 2, 365-368 (1995). Numerical results of the evaluation of Cauchy principal value integrals are presented. The authors propose a modified IMT quadrature scheme [cf. M. Iri, S. Moriguti and Y. Takasawa, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 17, 3-20 (1987; Zbl 0616.65023)] and demonstrate better results than evaluations by means of the Sinc scheme or standard methods as Gaussian or Chebyshev schemes. Five problems are solved by all methods and comparative results are presented.
