Gräbe, Hans-Gert Resolving algebras with straightening law. (English) Zbl 0770.13015 Beitr. Algebra Geom. 33, 5-16 (1992). Given an ideal \(I\) in a polynomial ring over a computable field the author discusses the lifting procedure of a minimal free resolution of the power product ideal of leading terms of \(I\) to a (not necessarily minimal) resolution of \(I\). A general combinatorial approach is presented for the minimization of Taylor’s resolution of a monomial ideal.
