Im, Sung Mo; Kim, Won Kyu An application of Himmelberg’s fixed point theorem to non-compact optimization problems. (English) Zbl 0754.47037 Bull. Inst. Math., Acad. Sin. 19, No. 2, 147-151 (1991). The authors using Himmelberg’s fixed point theorem prove a non- cooperative equilibrium existence theorem in non-compact setting. Further, they generalize the existence theorem of T. Kaczynski and V. Zeidan [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Math. Appl. 13, No. 3, 259-261 (1989; Zbl 0685.49009)] to non-compact infinite optimization problems.
