Burmeister, Peter; Wojdyło, Bolesław A category theoretical background for homomorphism theorems. (English) Zbl 0706.08005 Colloq. Math. 57, No. 1, 11-27 (1989). The categorical tool of factorization systems for morphisms is used to unify certain homomorphism theorems for partial algebras. The results presented here are part of the authors’ project to explore the abstract notions of category theory in the concrete setting of partial algebras.
