Vectorization of the odd-even hopscotch scheme and the alternating direction implicit scheme for the two-dimensional Burgers equations.
(English)
[J] SIAM J. Sci. Stat. Comput. 11, No.2, 354-367 (1990). ISSN 0196-5204

The authors consider the two-dimensional Burgers equation and develop odd-even hopscotch and alternating direction implicit schemes for the numerical solution of finite difference approximations. They discuss the stability of the methods and indicate implementation schemes. Numerical results are given for some particular cases.
