Shapiro, Harold S. Bilinear representation formulas for polynomials. (English) Zbl 0657.35039 Math. Scand. 62, No. 2, 246-252 (1988). Bekannt ist nach A. G. Ramm [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 98, 253-256 (1986; Zbl 0602.35015)], daß für ein beschränktes Gebiet \(D\subset {\mathbb{R}}^ 3\) der Raum \(L^ 2(D)\) der auf D quadratintegrablen Funktionen die Menge \(\{\) \(\sum_{endlich}u_ i.v_ i:\) \(u_ i,v_ i\) Polynomlösungen von \(\Delta v=0\}\) dicht enthält. In vorliegender Arbeit wird nun gezeigt, daß sich unter gewissen Voraussetzungen für zwei gegebene Polynome \(P,Q\in {\mathbb{C}}[x_ 1,...,x_ n]\) jedes Polynom \(R\in {\mathbb{C}}[x_ 1,...,x_ n]\) über \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) als \(\sum_{endlich}u_ i.v_ i\) mit \(u_ i,v_ i\in {\mathbb{C}}[x_ 1,...,x_ n]\) und \(P(D)(u_ i)=Q(D)(v_ i)=0\) schreiben läßt. Zum Beispiel ist im \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) jedes Polynom R als \(R=\sum_{endlich}u_ i.v_ i\) mit Polynomen \(u_ i,v_ i\) darstellbar, die der Laplace-Gleichung genügen.
