A computational algorithm for pole assignment of linear multiinput systems. (English) Zbl 0607.93020

The paper proposes an efficient and numerically reliable computational algorithm for pole assignment of linear time-invariant multiinput systems. The algorithm is based on the reduction of the system matrices to the standard controllability form by orthogonal similarity transformations.
