Shukhman, I. G. On the collisional dynamics of particles in the Saturn’s rings. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 0598.70007 Astron. Zh. 61, No. 5, 985-1004 (1984). The author deals with the problem of structure and evolution of Saturn’s ring. No electromagnetic nor selfgravitational forces are taken into account, and Saturn’s gravitational field is assumed to be spherically- symmetric. The inelastic collisions of spherical solid particles are considered, taking into account normal and tangential inelasticity allowing for time variation of particles spin. The kinetic equation with collisional term is derived and numerically solved in various approximations.
