Kocić, Vlajko Lj. Application of restricted Bäcklund transformation to linearization of second order nonlinear parabolic equation. (English) Zbl 0596.35067 Mat. Vesn. 37, 269-276 (1985). It is shown that the only nonlinear second order parabolic equations of the form: \(u_{xx}=F(u,u_ x,u_ y)\) which can be linearized by the restricted Bäcklund transformation are those which are obtained from linear or Burgers equation by the transformation of the unknown function.
