This is a survey of the results of the authors concerning the Mellin and Green symbolic calculus in spaces with conormal asymptotics. They develop an analogue of Boutet de Monvel’s theory of pseudo-differential boundary problems for manifolds with conical singularities. The symbolic refers from the very beginning to spaces with conormal asymptotics.
