Math. 2005, No. 1, 23-36 (2005). This paper deals with a mathematical model that consists in a system of four strongly coupled reaction-diffusion equations with different diffusion rates. The authors prove the existence of the global in time classical nonnegative solution in an unbounded domain using semigroup theory and estimates on the growth of solutions.
