Literature Databases
Zentralblatt MATH
Founded in 1931, Zentralblatt MATH is the world's most complete and longest running abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics. The Zentralblatt MATH Database contains more than 2.2 million bibliographic entries with reviews or abstracts drawn from more than 3500 journals and 1100 serials and covers the period from 1868 - present by the recent integration of the Jahrbuch database (JFM). Reviews are written by more than 6.000 experts from all over the world. The entries are classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification Scheme (MSC 2000). For more information see the database pages.
JFM Database, ERAM
The "Electronic Research Archive for Mathematics (ERAM)" consists of two parts:
1) A literature database based on the "Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik" (1868-1942).
2) An archive of digitised mathematical publications at the Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen.
The Jahrbuch was the world's first comprehensive abstracting journal in mathematics. The JFM database contains over 225 000 bibliographic entries, mostly with contemporary reviews. It also holds 17 041 links to facsimiles of the SUB Göttingen and other digitisation projects for example NUMDAM or Cornell. The digital archive at the SUB Göttingen includes the complete texts of 26 mathematical journals and selected monographs and dissertations. All data are available in the Web at no cost.
MathEduc
The bibliographic database MathEduc contains entries regarding mathematics education and computer science education. It covers about 500 journals and serials worldwide, books, conference papers and dissertations, teacher manuals, curricula, audio-visual media, teaching aids, games, software and software manuals. The major subjects are: research in mathematics or computer science education, instruction from elementary school to university teaching and adult education, elementary mathematics, recreational and popular mathematics. Full access is available to subscribers; however a free demo version can be used by nonsubscribers as well.
STMA-Z Statistical Theory
The literature database STMA-Z contains the entries of ZMATH regarding statistics tooled with data of former "Statistical Theory and Method Abstracts" edited by the International Statistical Institute (ISI). Nonsubscribers can access limited information through the free demo version, complete display of search results is provided for subscriber.
io-port.net
FIZ Karlsruhe's informatics portal io-port.net offers fast and convenient access to more than 2 million publications in informatics and related subject areas. It is the most extensive database of its kind currently existing. It pools information from several scientific databases: CompuScience, DBLP, LEABIB and CCSB. The offer is complemented by further content and services such as links to electronic full-texts and full-text ordering systems, personalized services and semantic tools. Basic information, like the display of author and title is free. The full version is available to subscribers only.

Web Search MathGuide
The Web Search MathGuide is produced by FIZ Karlsruhe in cooperation with FIZ Chemie. It offers a search facility in about 1200 URLS of mathematical departments or institutions all over the world.
EMIS
The "European Mathematical Information Service" is a service of the "European Mathematical Society". It offers fast and convenient access
to information about the Society as well as the participating national member societies, of which there are about 50. Interesting links relating to mathematics are also provided here.
EULER
The EULER service provides a simple but comprehensive and unified gateway to the electronic catalogues and repositories of participating institutions - these are FIZ Karlsruhe, SUB Göttingen, University of Florence, Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica and the European Mathematical Society. It covers bibliographic databases as well as library catalogues and thus provides a direct route to obtain information about mathematical literature, as well as the literature itself.
MPRESS
The Mathematics Preprint Search System contains mathematical preprints gathered by D-MathNet.preprints, The Topology Atlas, Algebraic Number Theory Server, K-theory Preprint Server, Austria, Australia, Brasil, Italy, Russia and Sweden.

Math Journals
The Zentralblatt MATH Database contains data drawn from more than 3500 journals and 1100 serials, which are listed in this Database of Serials and Journals. The Database provides information about publisher, place of publication, ISSNs, URLS and library shelfmarks of the journals and serials.
MSC 2000
The Mathematics Subject Classification Scheme (MSC) was compiled by the Editorial Offices of Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt Math with the kind support of numerous experts. It consists of 63 areas classified with two digits refined into over 5000 three- and five-digit classifications, and serves consequently as a compass for mathematicians.
MSC 2010
MR and Zbl have initiated the process of revising MSC2000 with an expectation that the revision will be used beginning in 2010.
