    abstract     = {Summary: In this note is proved, without the previous requirement of having equal areas, the existence of the positional relationship between two triangles that implies their Cavalieri congruence when such equality exists. This proof simplifies the ones published by {\it H. Eves} [Coll. Math. J. 22, No. 2, 118--124. (1991; ME 1991f.00821)] and {\it P. Halmos} [Problemes pour math\'ematiciens, petits et grands. Le Sel et le Fer. Paris: Cassini (2000; Zbl 0978.00003)] in which equality of areas is a necessary condition to arrive to the referenced position of triangles.},
