ab: This paper deals with locally grid graphs. The main results are: (i) a
    characterization of the Johnson graphs (the graphs with m-subsets of an
    n-set as vertices, where two of them are adjacent when they have an (m-
    1)-set in common) as locally grid graphs such that two points at
    distance 2 have precisely four common neighbours, and (ii) a complete
    determination of all graphs that are locally a $4\times 4$ grid (there
    are four such graphs).
