Robust stabilization of binary distillation columns with input constraints. (English)
Int. J. Syst. Sci. 33, No. 9, 759-765 (2002).
The authors study the problem of robust stabilization of binary distillation columns. The used mathematical model is similar to the one presented by {\it M. Morari} and {\it E. Zafiriou} [Robust process control (Englewood Cliffs, N. J., Prentice-Hall) (1989)]. The properties of the designed nonlinear controller are: the closed-loop system under physical constraints on the inputs is asymptotically stable, the ability of performing disturbance rejection, set point tracking and robustness against the system’s uncertainties.
