Model-order reduction of large-scale $k$th-order linear dynamical systems via a $k$th-order Arnoldi method. (English)

The authors derive structure-preserving model-order reduction method for a large-scale dynamical system of order $k$ with $k\geq3$. Indeed, an analogous method was already presented in literature for the case $k=2$ only. Such method is here efficiently extended by applying a technique based on a $k$-th order Arnoldi method. Applications to polynomial eigenvalue problems are provided together with some numerical experiments.
