The paper consists of the following sections: 1. Introduction 2. Walsh-Paley System 3. Construction of Systems Generalizing the Walsh-Paley System 4. Double Walsh Series 5. Binary Integration and a list of references. They reflect the main steps the author undertook to suggest a unified approach to various systems of the Walsh-Paley type, both in one dimension and two dimensions. Such systems have good applications in signal processing.
