Summary: In this article, a common fixed point theorem in 2-metric spaces is proved. Moreover, the main theorems of [{\it Lj. Ćirić, A. Razani, St. Radenović} and {\it J. S. Ume}, Comput. Math. Appl. 55, No.~11, 2533‒2543 (2008; Zbl 1142.54363)] and [{\it A. Razani} and {\it M. Shirdaryazdi}, Chaos Solitons Fractals 32, No.~1, 26‒34 (2007; Zbl 1134.54321)] in 2-metric spaces are investigated.
