Dynamics of Gaussian optical solitons by collective variables method. (English)
Appl. Math. Inf. Sci. 2, No. 3, 259-273 (2008).
The paper addresses the dynamics of parameters of optical solitons corresponding to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with perturbation terms. The Gaussian soliton ansatz is adopted. The nonlinear dynamical systems of equations are derived and their solutions are analyzed numerically.
