One family of methods for finding of zeros of generalized polynomials. (English)
C. R. Acad. Bulg. Sci. 60, No. 2, 117-120 (2007).
This paper deals with a family of generalizations of the Weierstrass method for simultaneous finding of all multiple roots of generalized polynomials over an arbitrary Chebyshev system. The above mentioned family possesses quadratic order of convergence to the exact roots of the corresponding polynomials. It can be used if the multiplicities of the roots are known. The iteration formula here proposed coincides with the Weierstrass one for algebraic polynomials.
