Summary: We introduce the concept of fuzzy $β$-compact* spaces. Besides giving some interesting properties of fuzzy $β$-compact* spaces we also give a characterization of fuzzy $β$-compact spaces by making use of the newly introduced concept of fuzzy $β$-filters.
