On the stability of bond motion for two bodies. (Russian)

The motion of a mechanical system consisting of two absolutely rigid bodies and of a weightless elastic joining bar is studied. The differential equations of the bond motion are established defining expressions for the potential and the kinetic energy of the system in an appropriate co-ordinate system. The stability conditions for the motion of this mechanical system along a given trajectory is obtained using the first method of Lyapunov.
