Combination of rotations, translations and scalings provides many transforming effects needed in geometrical modelling and it is traditionally obtained by decoding an image to a bitmap which is treated further. Instead of wasting time to change image format and then apply required transformation, it can be done with encoded image by re-definition of affine maps.
